Ropes on Roofs & Fall Protection Course

Invest in YOUR future & safety by taking the 2-day Ropes on Roofs & Fall Protection Competent Person course.  In this class we will teach you how to set up a fall protection system before your feet leave the ground so you can safely access roofs from the beginning to the end of the job.  Topics include:

• Working on Pitched Roofs

• Scene Survey, Hazard Assessment & Fall Clearance
• Gear Inspection & Maintenance

This is a hands-on class and each participant will be issued a harness with all needed components and a climbing helmet (for use in class).  Our roof training structure has three different roof slopes to teach & test your skills on various roof pitches.  There is also an area to demonstrate and practice ladder to roof transitions. Class size limited to 12 students, so register early to insure your spot.  Gloves, long pants and suitable shoes recommended.  Class is approved for 16 CEU's from CSIA & NFI.  Instructor Jim Brewer is an OSHA Authorized Instructor.
